Directions from Geneva:
Leave the A40 motorway (the Autoroute Blanche) at junction 14, Annemasse, onto the N206.
At St Cergues, follow signs to Thonon and leave the N206. Turn right and take the D903 following signs to Bons-en-Chablais. Stay on the D903 into Thonon. In Thonon take the D902 following signs to Morzine and Chatel. Stay on the D902 out of Thonon. At the large roundabout turn left onto the D22 following signs for Chatel and the “vallee d’Abondance”. Stay on the D22 through the villages of Vacheresse and Abondance and into La Chapelle d’Abondance. Stay on this road through the village and at the far end of the village, after the Ensolleille hotel on the left, opposite the tabac, turn left up the hill towards Le Rys, La Voraz and Lac d’Arvoin. Follow this road up the hill, bearing left when the road forks both left and right, for just over one kilometre. You will pass under the cable for the telecabine and Chalet Le Chat Feroce is a further two hundred metres on your right.
